Community-driven transformations that create ripple effects
Change spreads as culture does, through stories, shared experiences, and peer-to-peer learning. When one community transforms, it doesn't happen in isolation. It becomes a living example, a beacon others can learn from and replicate. We call this the weaving effect: communities connecting, strengthening, and gradually shifting larger systems.
Our Approach
Our work on Providencia Island — a community of roughly 4,500 — demonstrated that when you intervene at the system level (circular economy, waste management, regenerative agriculture, local democracy, and community empowerment), an entire society can begin to reshape itself.
